Ms. Sara Goetz
Ms. Goetz grew up in Maplewood, New Jersey, where her passion for horses ignited at age five. After becoming a dedicated student and equestrian, she transitioned to professional trainer in the early 1990s at Spring Tree Farm in Mendham, NJ, managing their lesson program.
With over 40 years of experience, Sara proudly oversees Dapple Hill Farm, offering a top-notch riding and training facility. Her unique approach has garnered numerous accolades, including NJHSA and NJPHA year-end championships, zone finalists, Marshall & Sterling finalists, and WEC championships. Her students consistently excel at rated horse shows throughout the eastern region, with former students achieving success in Grand Prix competitions, thanks to the strong foundation they received at Dapple Hill Farm.

Devin Jacobs
Devin Jacobs is the assistant trainer at Dapple Hill Farm. Devin has been horse crazy for as long as she can remember and grew up riding and showing in hunters and equitation on the New Jersey circuit into her college years After a successful stint in project management for a finance company, Devin decided to return to her passion and worked at an eventing program for several years before finding Sara and Dapple Hill Farm.
Devin enjoys working closely with students to develop foundational skills in riding, horsemanship, and horse care. She prides herself in providing personalized instruction tailored to each rider’s needs, goals, and personality. She is passionate about helping her riders build confidence and improve their techniques, and ensures they have fun while learning!
